At 24 of august 2024.year at “Stāmerienas Palace” will happen third year in a row.
In 1923. year, 24th of August Stāmerienas Palace Baroness Alexandra Alice von Wolff got married to Giuseppe Tomasi di LampedusaDon Giuseppe, Maria Fabrizio, Salvatore Stefano, Vittorio Tomazi, Prince of Lampedusa, Duke of Palma, Baron of Monte Chiaro; Baron of Torretta was an Italian nobleman and literary scholar and writer. Known as the author of the novel "Cheetah".
Celebrating this event, we invite anyone interested on August 24, 2024 to enjoy the events, the palace and the palace park in an Italian atmosphere.
We are also happy to welcome on this day the Duchess of Palma di Montechiaro, Nicoletta Polo Lanza Tomasi, who is now the last link to the historical memories of Alexandra von Wolff and Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa's post-war life in Palermo. Nicoletta is the wife of Aleksandra and Giuseppe's foster son Gioachino Lanca Tomasi, who together with Ilzi Lecinska wrote the book "Lives intertwined in one fateful dance" (Jumava, 2020).
This year, the program is diverse, which will allow everyone to find an event that interests them:
13.00 In the barn of the palace we are waiting for families to enjoy miracles with magician Danti Pecolli. Tickets EUR 12.00 for adults, EUR 6.00 for pupils, students, pensioners.
16:00 In the hall of the palace chamber music concert "In trio" the Italian music scene. Musicians from Latvia and Italy - Dita Krenberga (flute), Dārta Tisenkopfa-Muselli (harp) and Giulia Arnaboldi (viola) will perform. Tickets – EUR 20.00
17:30 In the barn of the palace. Documentary film "Birth of the Cheetah" - the only novel of the writer Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, as well as the screen version of this work directed by Luchino Visconti - is considered a masterpiece. The documentary tells about the life and extraordinary love of Tomazi and his Baltic German wife Alexandra von Wolf - Stomersee. Filming took place in Italy and Latvia. Director: Luigi Falorni, Italy, Germany, Latvia, 2019. Film is for free.
19:00 in the palace park - powerful music will be played by Katrīna Dimanta and the group "Zeltrači". Tickets – EUR 12.00.
Italian wine tasting masterclasses will be conducted by Arvis Desmitnieks at the picnic spot in the palace park. Throughout the day, you can also enjoy food and drinks from Valle Cafe, "Gardums" and "Bar 9" cafes.

The event is organized by the Stāmeriena Palace in cooperation with the Gulbene County Cultural Center.
